She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong understanding and skill set to diagnose mental and substance abuse issues while treating numerous psychological problems and providing preventative strategies to remain well. She is currently a Mental Health Counselor, providing individual and group mental health counseling to persons living with or at risk for HIV, including HIV-negative persons referred through the substance abuse and co-occurring disorders treatment program, along with individuals who are newly diagnosed with HIV or receiving primary care services. She is also the owner of a private practice, which offers competent and relevant counseling and biblical guidance to empower, edify, and encourage healing to clients that will allow them to take control of their destinies and function productively.

As you can see (septum piercing), she is a little quirky! She is a lover of all people, fashion, shoes, and cute puppies. In her spare time, she likes to read, color, DIY, do arts and crafts, eat, sleep, travel, and spend time with her friends and family. She grew up as a military brat (Air Force), so she has been afforded the opportunity to travel the world and experience a lot. She credits her ability to be adaptable to this. Chari is passionate about making sure everyone has the right to consideration, safety, and respect without discrimination as to race, ethnicity, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or national origin.
